Lester Haschke: Have protein for breakfast. Avoid sugary meals or espresso with cream and sugar within the mornings. What you set into your frame can have a tremendous affect on the way you suppose! Try peanut butter toast for breakfast. Or anything else prime in protein.
Branden Roddick: Feeling anemic may actually be too much sugar. High blood pressure runs in your family because of diet and environmental issues, not genetics. If you eat like your family, you will get sick like your family. I don't know of anything in the supplement you are thinking of taking which would be an issue, but many of the nutrients in it are probably soy derived (manufactured). That should give you pause. The supplement would also most likely just be a band-aid at best. Instead, try cutting all refined sugars, including high fructose corn syrup, white sugars, etc., out of your diet. Do not substitute with aspartame or Splenda, those are just as bad. Instead try using turbinado (u! nrefined sugar) for baking and Stevia for sweetening drinks. That will help cut down your sugar load and with those anemic feelings. You might also add caffeine to the no-no list. To pump up the iron in your bloodstream, start adding organic raisins and organic spinach to your diet. They have higher concentration of iron, and though it doesn't look like a lot, it actually is more readily absorbed by your body. This is what I've done when I felt my iron was low. Also, consider having your thyroid, adrenals and hormones testes. You don't have to see a doctor for that, you can order tests and send them back to the lab, which will then send you the results. You can treat thyroid, adrenal and hormone issues without docs too. That's for another post. Check here: http://www.salivatest.com for tests. You also should probably cut fluoride out of you life - yes fluoride. It causes many problems in the systems which could be causing you to feel anemic. No, you do not need ! fluoride to keep your teeth healthy. Cavities are mostly caus! ed by refined white sugar and refined white flour. Get rid of those, and you are keeping your teeth much safer. Another item in your household which could be causing a drain on your system is triclosan. It is the "anti-bacterial" of anti-bacterial everything. Unfortunately, we are being inundated with it, and it causes thyroid issues, which mimic anemic symptoms. You can now find this dangerous chemical in your toothpaste, deodorant, and other personal care items, in additions to soap and cleaners. Make sure you get items that DON'T say "anti-bacterial" and look on the label for this ingredient. If you are sensitive to MSG, then chances are good you are sensitive to the above mentioned chemicals too. Hopefully a few changes in the environment around you and items you use will help. FWIW - naturopaths are significantly cheaper than MDs, and twice as good with things like this. They can often do the same testing too, and charge less. You might get a recommendation f! or a good one if the above doesn't seem to help you feel better....Show more
Woodrow Neyman: It is probably ok to take but I would recommend checking with your pharmacist as well.In the mean time here's the link to a site that might help you find more information. The link is at: http://forums.obgyn.net/womens-health
