Lucrecia Laurito: i respect anyone who stands for the truth, especially against adversity. you would think that the mainstream would be content with their prominence and wealth, but as evidenced here, they can't even stand people merely inquiring about alternatives, such is their hatred of the truth.
Hyman Coren: completely agree..I feel for the people wanting alternative health advise who are having to deal with the trolls turning this into a free for all and trying to lesson the truth of the good answers posted.It is a shame as if someone is not that knowledgeable these people might scare them off from a truly good answers with their rants and thumbs down.The only way currently is for people wanting alternative health info is to block these people presumptively.That is one reason I did so I do not have to hear their crap when I ask a question. Unfortunately still run into them when I answer questions they are allowed to answer. Then they insult you and your answer! s. I remember how great it was before they got on here. Today I got insulted several times and was glad I decided to cut back my time on here to attend to my life. At least I left a body of answers on various health problems if people need to do a search, but many left and did not return due to these bullies...Show more

And it amuses me to think of the frustration at the other end.For me it's the regulars who continue to post questions and answers despite the wannabe skeptics responses that ignore the evidence provided them and often abuse individuals. Often times with kick! ;-)As far as blocking the haters....if only those that come in with legitimate questions regarding Alt Med (and not asking for opinions) could pre-emptively block those that aren't really answering the question, but using the question as an anti-Alt Med soap box. They just don't get that the title for this question category is simply: Alternative Medicine. NO WHERE is there a subtitle or clause that states that we must first justify or prove anything to the skeptics. (yet, oddly, the phrase is something like "show us some evidence or STFU" ) Pardon? Herma Ellebrecht: Dr. T seems to really know her stuff! I've seen her put the "skeptics" in their place over science, not that it stops them from cranking and moaning.Lightening usually seems on the ball. And I have not seen Doctor J in a while, but he's good too.
