Warren Kotter: If you do it at an animal shelter it is both a hobby and charity work. If it's your bag, it's a hobby, never let anyone tell you otherwise.
Rayford Latz: No. But raising and caring for kittens/cats would be considered a hobby. Of course we have enough of them naturally so it is not a high grade hobby. Maybe you could add photographing them - even if you only do it once in a while, or drawing them.
