Billie Bratchett: Well you should start off with sit, stay, speak, quiet, down, shake, lay down, and whatever else you would like to teach it. The best advice I can give you is spend a lot of time teaching him, use treats, and repetition is the key. Just like with children. Just be consistent. My dog learned how to shake and speak in 1 day. I just repeated myself and used treats. Good Luck and I really hope this helps.

Patrick Bitsui: The easiest trick to teach a pet is to get them to Sit or to get them to Lay Down.To get them to sit, you should take out a few dog treats such as dog buiscuits, bones, or any kinds of meats your dog likes to snack on or eat.Get you dog to stand in front of you.Go around to the back side, and near where the tail starts to emerge from their bodies, go a few centimeters up, and pat or ligh! tly push down, and your dog should sit.Tell you dog 'Sit' so it will understand what that was called, then give your dog the treat and say 'Good dog' or 'Good boy/girl', whatever gender your dog may be.My dog knows alot of tricks.Here's what I taught one of my dogs:1.
