Can a virus in one computer affect the whole network?

Jasper Mangel: If malware bytes and avast didn't work then theres one last option you could do. It's not a guarantee that it'll fix your problem but it worked for me when my whole computer screen turned black and i had extreme limited files i could still use due to how strong the virus was. Since malware bytes didn't work i suggest you go ahead and try doing a system restore to the earliest date. When it's done restarting and stuff see if theres still anything wrong with your computer if its better then what it was now then go ahead and start scanning your computer and stuff and try to delete as much viruses you can, if nothing work and the virus is still that bad, then i guess you have to reformat. System restore is always the last final option to fixing your computer before refomatting....Show more

Everette Rovinsky: Brontok appears to spread only by email, so no, but you should clean your system up anyway.
