Jefferson Sarson: No. Nothing wrong with that at all.
Whitley Leopold: I have never heard the term âanchor babyâ before.I suppose I would be offended if someone was using a baby as a ships anchor. Thatâd be, like, child abuse.
Cassey Hollinghurst: Who the hell reads stupid magazines like Ebony/Jet & Essence?Black people can't be racist.Didn't you know that?
Marya Fehn: Last night I scored a date with this hot mexican guy. We decided to go to our favorite restaurant "donkeys for honkeys", our favorite place to go to and buy donkey burgers and iced mocha's or steaming lattes (depending on the season). We sparked off a conversation and I noticed I was still a bit gassy from my visit to dairy queen that morning. I overlooked it, but after a few minutes my poots just couldn't contain themselves. They started out soft, but the more I pooted the louder it tooted. I tried laughing loudly to mask the sound, but then the smell hit and his face scrunched up i! n disgust. I blamed it on this wrinkly old lady sitting next to me, but he knew that I was lying. So I got my purse and stormed out of there in a hurry. And he still hasn't texted me back yet saying he's sorry. Why are guys such jerks?...Show more
Elaina Adolfson: Because most of the magazines are for white people, can't we have a couple of our own? Same as BET, and a lot of black hair products, because certain things fit our culture.
Wally Perrien: Mexicans usually smell worse than even the most toxic of farts ............ so it`s highly unlikely he`d smell your fart over his B.O. !!
Lorine Helwick: anglo godness i knew yo were not truely a white gurl....i knew you were a mexican hoe.
Gus Leiby: No, but a White-only mag could be viewed as racist. Unfair, but we the whiteys kinda ****** every other race.
Arnoldo Budzynski: no.
Margart Stimpert: LOL YOU.
Renita Sefton: "when I requested if he wanted to go walk around the park, yet he! stated he had to upward thrust up early and dropped me off at! homestead." I even ought to upward thrust up early skill i'm no longer attracted to you. you received't hear from him. the probabilities it truly is basically because of a fart are very slender. If he loved you he'd supply up sleep and snigger at your fart. bypass on. there are extremely some different adult men accessible. you'll discover human being who needs to stroll with you....Show more
Georgia Dees: What makes someone considered goth or emo?I'm not trying to be offensive, I just get confused at times.
Antonia Boomershine: No why would it be racist? Its just geared to what black people are doing so it cant be racist. Unless they have stuff in there blasting other races.
Ollie Hamiel: No because Hispanics have one for themselves as well called Latinos and whites do too. It's just a way of sharing whats going on in our own community I guess
Dalia Causby: Not a phrase I have ever heard before. What does it mean?
Jacques Vaquera: What is th! is I don't even >_>
Michelle Sohre: I give thumbs up to any gurl who can blow a big one lolz. I find it entertaining
Micah Schwarcz: Sometimes.
Leann Villalta: no i don't think it's raciest!!!! mind yo damn business!!
Bianca Lannier: No, most mainstream magezines cater to make-up and hairstyles for white folks. And there a certain issues in the world that effect black folks and those magezines help address them.
Cordia Fivecoat: For years those were the only magazines that showcased black culture, actors, musicians, models, etc...All the other magazines pretty much excluded us.
Irvin Guiles: No culture is culture. You want to be proud of your own race and other races don't get as big as chance at the mainstream media-its getting better but not while we have certain people working for the companies. Honestly sometimes more truth come out of magazines that aren't controlled by mainstream beurocracy
Kalyn Proietto: This goes along with! all of the other questions like this. There was a time when black peop! le were not represent in mainstream magazines. because of this, they started there own.
Esmeralda Pigram: Well no one is really both and if they are, they don't understand them."Emo" stood for emotive hardcore and it was a sub-genre of hardcore punk in the 80s which has evolved to become a teenage phase which people think now stands for "emotional" (illogical since emotions range from being excited or devastated. It does not just mean unhappy, like some people think). You can technically be part of the emo phase for a while but it usually not someone's true self and they will grow out of it. Listening to real emo music would make someone who listens to emo music but they themselves would not call themselves "emo". There isn't an official fashion or aesthetic for it which is why it isn't a a subculture. For someone to be considered Goth, they must at least know a bit about the background and history of the Gothic subculture, listen to a good portion of Goth or Goth assoc! iated music and have a dark mindset. Seems a lot but that's what makes us differ from normal people, if you're goth then you are naturally in to this and it does not seem like a chore. Having a dark mind is something you have naturally, I wouldn't say you're born with it and I actually don't know the Science behind it but all I know is that you cannot make yourself change your natural mindset.Argulably, Goth is a music based subculture and many Goths will tell you that you need to consider listening to or at least be familiar with Gothic rock bands. You don't need to force yourself to listen to Bauhaus if you don't want to but I'm sure there'll be another type of Goth music out there that you will enjoy - even if it's EBM or Gothic metal.I hope that's enough....Show more
Lady Laflin: Goth is a subculture, emo is a fashion statement. Emo was originally a nickname for "emotive hardcore" (type of music), but has evolved into meaning "emotional" because it was misinterpre! ted, since fans of this music were usually known for being a bunch of d! epressed-self-harming-teens with too much free time. It's all stereotypical. But this is what it's known for now.An emo person (like I said stereotypical) would be very depressed, hate the world, including themselves and probably cry all the time. They've even stereotyped and emo style. Usually "emo" kids dress in skinny jeans, dark colors (but not all black), band tee shirts, and chucks. It originally meant "emotive hardcore".The word "Gothic" was originally used to describe works of art that were "dark", which is the meaning, hence how it now describes people we call "goth". Gothic is now used as an adjective is usually used to describe people who wear all, or mostly black. They're usually gloomy, sometimes depressed, but everyone can get depressed, so that doesn't really count. Gothic style is(like I said) all or mostly black, heavy eyeliner, black or odd colored hair. This too can all be stereotypical. Like you can dress "goth" and not worship the devil. You can say you! 're goth and not worship the devil. There's a goth style music too. It's like a form of rock. Sort of. But like I said, through this whole thing. Most of this is stereotypical, especially all the "emo" stuff. It's kinda sad how things can get so stupidly out of hand....Show more
Shon Almquist: No
Mandy Mustaro: Not really, their are a lot of magazines out their that is geared specially towards Caucasians, Hispanics, Asians, African Americans, etc. Besides, their is nothing stopping people for reading and buying a certain magazine regardless of their race, it really isn't a big of a deal.
Gaylord Barragan: Usually, I don't find it offensive. We should not be worried about offending ILLEGAL immigrants. Iâm pretty sure that this example gets thrown around on the âimmigrationâ section, but worrying about this is like worrying about offending the burglar that has broken into your home.FYI: In case people don't already know, they say that the child(ren) of! the illegal immigrant mothers act as "anchors" to help them stay in th! e USA, collect citizen benefits, etc. If anyone (especially if you are from Chicago) is familiar with Elvira Arellano, then you should have heard this term used to describe her son Saulito....Show more
Carli Watterson: for the same reason there are gay magazines, gardening magazines, computer magazines, art magazines...everybody has different interests...you don't spend much time in the book stores do you?
Lorelei Lilburn: no if you hate it go make one for whoever you want, and it doesn't have a label that says blacks only you know...
Samatha Nicar:
Betsey Copp: Why is it a problem that people make magazines that are targeted at a certain group of people? There are lots of "white magazines" as in magazines targeted at white people. Ok there are like 10 out of hundreds that are aimed at black people. This is a none issue.
Amada Greising: What's with all these posts about farting on dates? Whoever started this posting trend about it, sucks... -_! _-
Keven Drumgole: well, if you consider the difs:emo + goth are both music-based subcultures, they originated from certain rock genres. emo came from hardcore punk, whereas goth is an offshoot of post-punk. regarding lyrics, emo involves more emotional/expressive lyrics while goth involves more romantic/dark/introspective themes.fashion-wise, emos followed the band members' look, usually of dark skinny jeans, converse, and hoodies, maybe even band tees. the side swept fringe + straightened hairstyle is also common, could be dyed black maybe have a couple of colored highlights.goths have a wider variety; corsets/victorian dresses/laced platform boots; band tees/fishnets/leather jackets/teased hair/pointed or combat boots (more punk-style); or cyber goth of blacks + neons, goggles/arm warmers/bondage or strappy pants or tops, etc.--if you'd like a full definition of emos and goths, I have explained it in this Q:https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ArW_......Sh! ow more
